बिहार के अररिया जिले में कोरोना योद्धा के साथ बदसलूकी करने वाले पुलिस अधिकारी को सस्पेंड कर दिया गया है। पुलिस महानिदेशक गुप्तेश्वर पांडे ने इस मामले पर कहा है कि अतिरिक्त पुलिस उपनिरीक्षक गोविंद सिंह को ग्राम चौकीदार के रूप में तैनात होमगार्ड जवान के साथ बदसलूकी करने के आरोप में निलंबित कर दिया गया है।

पुलिस महानिदेशक पांडे ने कहा, “मैंने चौकीदार को फोन किया और पुलिस अधिकारी की ओर से माफी मांगी क्योंकि यह जरूरी है कि हम अपने किसी भी जवान का मनोबल गिरने न दें।”

दरअसल बिहार के अररिया जिले में लॉकडाउन के दौरान एक कृषि अधिकारी ने अपने रसूख का गलत इस्तेमाल करते हुए एक सिपाही से उठक-बैठक करवाई। सिपाही ने अधिकारी से लॉकडाउन का पास मांगा और नहीं होने पर उसे जुर्माना भरने को कहा। इस पर अधिकारी ने स्थानीय पुलिस अधिकारियों को बुलाकर सिपाही से उठक-बैठक करवाई। घटना का वीडियो वायरल होने पर लोगों ने कार्रवाई की मांग की थी। 

दरअसल, कोरोना वायरस के प्रसार को रोकने के लिए पूरे देश में लॉकडाउन लागू है। इसलिए जब यह अधिकारी लॉकडाउन के दौरान बाहर निकला तो अररिया में एक सिपाही ने उसकी गाड़ी रोककर उससे लॉकडाउन का पास मांगा। जब अधिकारी ने पास नहीं दिखाया तो सिपाही ने उस पर 500 रुपये का जुर्माना लगा दिया।

इससे अफसर बिफर गया और स्थानीय सभी पुलिस अधिकारियों को तलब कर दिया। अधिकारी ने सिपाही से उठक-बैठक करवाई और उससे पैर छूकर माफी भी मंगवाई। इस दौरान वहां मौजूद एक व्यक्ति ने घटना का वीडियो बनाकर सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल कर दिया। 

एसडीपीओ ने दी सफाई
मामले में एसडीपीओ पुष्कर कुमार ने सफाई देते हुए कहा था कि सभी पुलिस अधिकारी मौके पर मौजूद थे। सिपाही स्वयं ही उठक-बैठक करने लगा। अधिकारी ने उठक-बैठक नहीं करवाई थी।  
 
बता दें कि जिस सिपाही से उठक- बैठक करवाया गया था उसका नाम गोनू तात्मा है और वो अररिया के बैरगाछी में तैनात है। बताया जा रहा है कि अररिया के जिला कृषि अधिकारी मनोज कुमार इसी इलाके से हो कर गुजर रहे थे। इसी दौरान सिपाही गोनू तात्मा ने उनकी गाड़ी को लॉकडाउन के मद्देनजर रुटीन चेकिंग के लिए रोक दिया। 

दरअसल वो कृषि अधिकारी को पहचानता नहीं था। कायदे से लॉकडाउन का पालन कराने के लिए इस जवान को शाबाशी मिलनी चाहिए थी। लेकिन कृषि अधिकारी को अपने रुतबे के सामने ये सबकुछ इतना नागवार गुजरा कि उन्होंने बीच सड़क पर सिपाही से कान पकड़ कर उठक बैठक करा दी।

विपक्ष ने मामले की निंदा की

इस घटना पर राजद नेता मृत्युंजय तिवारी ने कहा था कि इस तरह की हरकत कोरोना योद्धाओं का अपमान है। अफसर पर तत्काल कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए। वहीं, भाजपा प्रवक्ता निखिल आनंद ने भी घटना की निंदा की थी। उन्होंने कहा कि जवान ने अपने कर्तव्य का पालन किया है। शासन इस मामले में संज्ञान लेगा।
