वहीं चीन के अंदर इसके खिलाफ आवाज उठाने वाले लोगों को देश का दुश्मन तक करार दिया जा रहा है। चीन अपने लोगों की आवाज को दबाने के लिए बहुत सारे हथकंडे अपना रहा है। यहां तक कि हेल्थ ऐप को कोरोना से संबंधित ऐप बताकर लोगों की गतिविधियों पर नजर रखने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है।

विश्व के अधिकतर मानवाधिकार कार्यकर्ताओं ने माना है कि चीन इस तरह के हथकंडे इसलिए अपना रहा है क्योंकि वह नहीं चाहता है कि उसके देश के लोग इस महामारी से संबंधित कोई भी जानकारी अन्य देशों से साझा कर सके।

‘द डेली मेल’ अखबार के मुताबिक अब तक कोरोना संबंधित जानकारी साझा करने को लेकर 5,100 से ज्यादा लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया जा चुका है।

जानकारी के अनुसार 30 दिसंबर को चीन की कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी ने वुहान सेंट्रल हॉस्पिटल में काम करने वाले डॉ वेनलियांग और सात अन्य डॉक्टरों पर जानकारी साझा करने का आरोप लगाकर कड़ी आलोचना की थी यहां तक कि उन्हें पुलिस के सामने माफी भी मांगनी पड़ी। बता दें कि डॉ वेनलियांग ने ही सबसे पहले सार्स जैसी बीमारी के पनपने का अंदेशा जताया था और एक महीने बाद सात फरवरी को डॉ वेनलियांग की मौत हो गई। डॉक्टर की मौत पर चीन के लोगों ने जमकर सरकार की निंदा की  और हैशटैग वीवांटफ्रीडमऑफस्पीच को कुछ घंटों के अंदर ही लाखों लोगों का समर्थन मिला। 
   
इससे पहले वुहान के अस्पतालों में कोरोना मरीजों की दुर्दशा पर एक वीडियो साझा करने वाले वकील चेन क्यूशी भी लापता हैं। इस वीडियो को यू-ट्यूब पर चार लाख बार देखा गया था। उनके परिवार को सिर्फ यह जानकारी दी गई कि उन्हें किसी अंजान स्थान पर क्वारंटीन में रखा गया है। चेन को जैसे ही यह अहसास हुआ कि पुलिस उन्हें पकड़ सकती है, उन्होंने एक वीडियो जारी किया था। इसमें उन्होंने कहा था, मैं उन सभी चीजों के बारे में बोलूंगा, जो मैं देख और सुन रहा हूं। मुझे मरने से डर नहीं लगता।  

तीसरा मामला सरकारी रिपोर्टर ली जेहुआ से जुड़ा है। उनपर आरोप लगाया गया कि उन्होंने वुहान में कोरोना से बड़ी संख्या में मौत होने की जानकारी साझा की थी और बाद में सादे कपड़ों में उनके फ्लैट पर पहुंची पुलिस उन्हें पकड़कर ले गई। इस पूरे घटनाक्रम को लाइव स्ट्रीमिंग के जरिये लाखों लोगों ने देखा।
