वैश्विक महामारी कोरोना वायरस से सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित देश अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने कहा है कि वह इस बेहद संक्रामक जानलेवा बीमारी की वैक्सीन को लेकर जल्द ही बड़ी खबर दे सकते हैं। समाचार एजेंसी एएनआई के मुताबिक ट्रंप ने कहा, ‘हमने कल (गुरुवार को) वैक्सीन को लेकर एक बैठक की थी, इसमें हम बहुत अच्छा कर रहे हैं। हम जल्द ही कोई अच्छी खबर दे सकते हैं। वैक्सीन को विकसित करने को लेकर उम्मीद से बेहतर प्रगति हुई है।’
 

समाचार एजेंसी एएनआई की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक ट्रंप ने है कि इमेरिका ने कोरोना वायरस वैक्सीन की 20 लाख डोज तैयार कर ली हैं। अगर सुरक्षा के पैमाने पर ये खरी उतरती हैं तो इन्हें अस्पतालों में भेजने की तैयारी भी कर ली गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि वैज्ञानिक इसकी जांच कर रहे हैं कि यह वैक्सीन मनुष्यों के लिए सुरक्षित है या नहीं।

कोरोना वायरस की उत्पत्ति को लेकर एक बार फिर चीन को याद करते हुए ट्रंप ने कहा कि हम पूरी दुनिया के साथ काम कर रहे हैं और चीन के साथ भी काम करेंगे। हम सबके साथ काम करेंगे। लेकिन जो हुआ वह नहीं होना चाहिए था। कोरोना वायरस चीन का ‘उपहार’ है। यह अच्छा नहीं है। उन्हें इसे इसकी शुरुआत के समय ही रोकना चाहिए था। वुहान, जहां से यह वायरस निकला था वहां स्थिति बहुत खराब हो गई थी, लेकिन फिर भी यह चीन के अन्य भागों में नहीं फैला।
