पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान कोरोना वायरस के लिए जांच कराने वाले हैं। कुछ दिन पहले खान ने एक जाने-माने समाजसेवी से मुलाकात की थी जो बाद में इस वायरस से संक्रमित पाए गए थे।
राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य सेवा मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि पिछले 24 घंटे में पाकिस्तान में कोरोना वायरस से कुल 17 लोगों की मौत हुई है, जिससे मृतकों की संख्या बढ़कर 209 हो गई है। कोरोना वायरस के मामलों की संख्या बुधवार को बढ़कर 9,749 हो गई है और संक्रमण के 533 नए मामले सामने आये हैं।
सूचना सलाहाकर फिरदौस आशिक अवान ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री के परिवार की जांच रिपोर्ट में संक्रमण की पुष्टि नहीं हुई है। अवान ने कहा कि खान की बुधवार को जांच होगी। उन्होंने कहा, ‘प्रधानमंत्री एक जिम्मेदार नागरिक होने के नाते कोरोना वायरस के लिए जांच कराएंगे।’
