शुरुआत में डिप्टी सेक्रेटरी और उससे ऊपर के ई-ऑफिस योजना में शामिल होंगे। बाद में एचओडी अपने सेक्शन अफसरों को भी इसका हिस्सा बना सकते हैं। क्लासिफाइड फाइलें ई-ऑफिस से नहीं भेजी जाएंगी। नेशनल इंर्फोमेटिक्स सेंटर (एनआईसी) को ई-ऑफिस वर्किंग की नोडल एजेंसी बनाया गया है।

अब इसे आगे भी जारी रखा जाएगा। एनआईसी ने ई-ऑफिस और वीडियो क्रांफ्रेंसिंग जैसा मजबूत प्लेटफार्म उपलब्ध कराने में अहम भूमिका निभाई है। लॉकडाउन 4.0 के बाद भी यह व्यवस्था जारी रहे, इसके लिए अब जो ड्राफ्ट तैयार हो रहा है, उसमें सुरक्षा का सबसे अधिक ध्यान रखा जाएगा।

एनआईसी, गृह मंत्रालय के साथ मिलकर सिक्योरिटी गाइडलाइन तैयार करेगा। लैपटॉप, रोटेशन के आधार पर मुहैया कराया जाएगा। आईटी के दूसरे लॉजिस्टिक की जिम्मेदारी भी एनआईसी को सौंपी गई है।

डाटा कार्ड के लिए रिम्बर्समेंट का प्रावधान किया जाएगा। ई-ऑफिस के दौरान सेंट्रल रजिस्ट्री यूनिट (सीआरयू) और फ़िजिकल डाक प्रणाली काम करती रहेगी। ई-ऑफिस के काम में देरी न हो, इसके लिए एसएमएस और ईमेल पर अलर्ट भेजेंगे।

अहम फाइलें, ई-ऑफिस के नॉलेज मैनेजमेंट सिस्टम में रहेंगी। विभिन्न मंत्रालयों के बीच अहम फाइलों का आदान-प्रदान पहले की भांति निर्बाध रूप से जारी रहेगा। ई-ऑफिस वीआईपी और संसद के कामकाज वाली फाइलों को किस तरह से भेजेंगे, इस पर भी विचार किया जा रहा है।
