Instructions for teachers and parents /facilitators:

1. Let the learners read the lesson 4.2_Molai’s Kathoni (Std 6 Textbook_PN83-86). Assist

whenever necessary.

1. You may use “Read to me” free app provided by Govt. of Maharashtra for reading

guidance.

1. Ask the learners to underline the new or difficult words they find during reading.
2. Encourage the learners to find out the pronunciation and meaning of these words with the help of their teachers, parents or if possible then use dictionary on their own. You may use online dictionary too.
3. Help the learners do the activity.

Instructions for students:

1. Read the lesson 4.2 Molai’s Kathoni (Std 6 Textbook_PN83-86)
2. Underline the new or difficult words they find during reading.
3. Find out the pronunciation and meaning of these words with the help of their teachers, parents or if possible then use dictionary on their own. You may use online dictionary too.
4. Translate the lesson with the help of dictionary, parents and your teacher.
5. Complete the given activity after your reading.

Practice:

Read aloud the meaningful sentences that you have framed. You may change the words from both the column, add other examples from the text or on your own and frame more meaningful sentences.

Extension Activity/ Parallel Activity/ Reinforcement:

1. Read the lesson again and underline the verbs.
2. Watch the lesson on You Tube.Search ‘Molai’s Kathoni’ – A story of Jadav Payeng. Listen it again, read and repeat. 3. Prepare a poster on ‘Plant at least two trees each!”
