रेलवे के बाद अब विमान सेवा शुरू करने की तैयारी की जा रही है। यात्री विमान सेवा शुरू होने की संभावना को देखते हुए दिल्ली एयरपोर्ट प्रशासन ने भी कमर कसनी शुरू कर दी है। उधर, विश्व तकनीकी दिवस पर सोमवार को एयरपोर्ट पर सामान की जांच के लिए यूवी टनल व यूवी हैंड हेल्ड डिवाइस समेत कई नई तकनीक का परीक्षण व निरीक्षण किया गया।

एयरपोर्ट को संचालित करने वाली कंपनी के अनुसार, काफी कम समय में ट्रॉली को सैनिटाइज करने के साथ ही जूतों को सैनिटाइज करने के लिए भी अलग से मैट्स लगाए गए हैं, ताकि जूतों पर अगर वायरस चिपकता है तो उसे खत्म कर सकें। वायरस से बचाव के लिए हरसंभव उपाय किए जा रहे हैं। यूवी टनल के माध्यम से सामान को संक्रमण रहित किया जाएगा।

सतह को संक्रमण से बचाने का भी उपाय किया गया है। एक ट्रॉली को पांच सेकेंड में संक्रमणमुक्त किया जाएगा। सीसीटीवी कैमरों के माध्यम से भी नजर रखी जाएगी। डायल के अनुसार, हवा की गुणवत्ता व परिसर को संक्रमणमुक्त करने के लिए 700 यूवी लैंप लगाए गए हैं। 336 ऑटोमैटिक हैंड सैनिटाइजर डिस्पेंसर जगह-जगह लगाए गए हैं।

विमानों के संचालन के लिए कई तरह की योजनाएं भी तैयार की गई हैं। एयरपोर्ट सूत्रों के अनुसार, शुरुआती दिनों में 30 प्रतिशत विमानों का संचालन किया जाएगा। हालात की समीक्षा के बाद धीरे-धीरे संख्या बढ़ाई जाएगी। सभी एयरपोर्ट पर उन जगहों की पहचान की जा रही है, जहां यात्रियों को परेशानी होती है। उनकी सहूलियत के लिए कर्मचारी तैनात रहेंगे। सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग पर निगाह भी रखेंगे।

प्रवेश के दौरान कॉन्टैक्टलेस सिस्टम तैयार किया गया है, ताकि कोई यात्री एक-दूसरे के संपर्क में नहीं आ सके। रविवार को दिल्ली एयरपोर्ट पर नागर विमानन महानिदेशालय, ब्यूरो ऑफ सिविल एविएशन सिक्योरिटी ऑफिस, एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया, सीआईएसएफ व एयरपोर्ट संचालित करने वाली  दिल्ली इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट लिमिटेड की संयुक्त टीम ने मुआयना किया।
