कोरोना वायरस को मात देने में जुटे दिल्ली पुलिस के कर्मचारी अब खुद इसकी चपेट में आ रहे हैं। राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में चांदनी महल पुलिस स्टेशन कोरोना का हॉट स्पॉट बन गया है। दिल्ली में कुल 16 पुलिसकर्मी कोरोना से पीड़ित हैं, इनमें से 8 केस चांदनी महल थाने के हैं। 

खास बात है कि इस थाने में तैनात पुलिसकर्मी, तब्लीगी जमात में पहुंचे लोगों के संपर्क में आए थे। इन पुलिसकर्मियों ने सौ से अधिक जमातियों को विभिन्न मस्जिदों से ढूंढ निकाला था। बाद में इन सभी जमातियों को क्वारंटीन सेंटर में भेज दिया गया। मेडिकल जांच रिपोर्ट में पता चला कि इनमें से 52 लोग कोरोना के पीड़ित हैं। अब इसका असर थाने के पुलिसकर्मियों पर देखने को मिल रहा है। दिल्ली पुलिस के आला अधिकारियों का कहना है कि दूसरे पुलिसकर्मियों तक कोरोना का संक्रमण न फैले, इस पर गंभीरता से काम हो रहा है।

दिल्ली पुलिस के सूत्रों के अनुसार, निजामुद्दीन मरकज से होकर आए तब्लीगी जमात के अनेक लोग दिल्ली की मस्जिदों में ठहरे हुए थे। पुलिस ने निजामुद्दीन मरकज से यह जानकारी हासिल की थी कि यहां पर आने वाले लोग कहां पर ठहरे हुए हैं। पता चला कि सौ से अधिक लोग चांदनी महल थाने के अंतर्गत पड़ने वाली विभिन्न मस्जिदों में ठहरे हैं।

दिल्ली पुलिस ने ऐसे सभी जमातियों को तलाश लिया। बाद में उन्हें दिल्ली सरकार के क्वारंटीन सेंटरों में ले जाया गया। जब उन लोगों की टेस्ट रिपोर्ट आई तो दिल्ली पुलिस हैरान रह गई। करीब 52 लोग ऐसे निकले, जो पॉजिटिव थे। इसके बाद आनन-फानन में कई पुलिसकर्मियों को क्वारंटीन में भेजा गया। चांदनी महल इलाके को पूरी तरह सील कर दिया गया। शुरुआती जांच रिपोर्ट में तीन पुलिसकर्मी ऐसे मिले, जिनकी कोरोना रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई थी।

पुलिस अधिकारियों ने थाने के सभी कर्मियों की केस हिस्ट्री एकत्रित की। मालूम हुआ कि जिनकी रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई है, उनमें से ज्यादातर पुलिसकर्मी मरकज वाले ऑपरेशन में शामिल थे। बाद में कई दूसरे पुलिसकर्मियों की रिपोर्ट आ गई। इसमें पता लगा कि पांच अन्य पुलिसकर्मी भी कोरोना से पीड़ित हैं। अब चांदनी महल थाने में कुल आठ पुलिसकर्मी कोरोना के संक्रमण से ग्रसित हैं। दो तीन दिन में कई दूसरे पुलिसकर्मियों की रिपोर्ट आ जाएगी।

बता दें कि दिल्ली पुलिस में 6 अप्रैल को कोरोना का पहला मामला सामने आया था। ट्रैफिक पुलिस के एएसआई जीत सिंह कोरोना की चपेट में आ गए थे। हालांकि अब वे ठीक होकर अपने घर लौट गए हैं। तब से लेकर अब तक 15 अन्य पुलिसकर्मी भी कोरोना की चपेट में आ चुके हैं।

चांदनी महल के आठ पुलिसकर्मियों के अलावा बुराड़ी थाने में एक, सफदरजंग एन्क्लेव थाने में एक, ट्रैफिक पुलिस में एक, पीएंडएल यूनिट में एक, बाड़ा हिन्दू राव में एक, नबी करीम थाने में दो, तिलक विहार चौकी में एक और रोहिणी जिले में कार्यरत एक पुलिसकर्मी शामिल है। मध्य जिले के चांदनी महल पुलिस स्टेशन में कोरोना वायरस के इतने मामले आना दिल्ली पुलिस मुख्यालय के लिए बड़ी चिंता का कारण बन गया है।
