दिल्ली की रोहिणी जेल में एक कोरोना पॉजिटिव कैदी के संपर्क में आने वाले 15 कैदी और जेल के एक कर्मचारी(हेड वार्डन) में कोरोना की पुष्टि हुई है।

गौरतलब है कि बीते दिनों रोहिणी जेल का एक कैदी अपनी आंत में परेशानी के चलते ऑपरेशन के लिए दिल्ली के दिनदयाल अस्पताल में भर्ती हुआ था। यहां उसका कोरोना का भी टेस्ट कराया गया था, जिसकी रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई। इसके बाद से ही वह जिस बैरक में था उसमें रखे गए 19 कैदियों और पांच जेल कर्मचारियों को क्वारंटीन कर उनकी कोरोना जांच कराई गई थी।

जेल के डीजी संदीप गोयल ने जानकारी दी कि 19 में से 15 कैदियों और पांच में से एक कर्मचारी की कोरोना रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई है। बाकी सभी की रिपोर्ट निगेटिव है। वो 15 कैदी जिनकी रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई है उन्हें अन्य कैदियों से अलग आइसोलेशन बैरक में रखा गया है। वहीं संक्रमित हेड वार्डर को होम क्वारंटीन पर भेज दिया गया है। कुछ अन्य कर्मचारियों को भी घर पर क्वारंटीन किया गया है।

कैदियों की स्क्रीनिंग पहले ही शुरू की जा चुकी है जो आगे भी जारी रहेगी। जेल में सैनिटाइजेशन का काम भी चल रहा है। मेडिकल प्रोटोकॉल के हिसाब से सभी जरूरी कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं।
