कांग्रेस ने वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण की ओर से आर्थिक पैकेज से जुड़ी दूसरे दिन की घोषणाओं को लेकर आरोप लगाया कि कोई राहत नहीं दी गई। पार्टी के मुख्य प्रवक्ता रणदीप सुरजेवाला ने ट्वीट किया कि निर्मला सीतारमण के आर्थिक पैकेज के दूसरे दिन की घोषणाओं का अर्थ खोदा पहाड़, निकला जुमला है।

गौरतलब है कि मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने बृहस्पतिवार को प्रवासी मजदूरों एवं कुछ अन्य वर्गों के लिए राहत की घोषणाएं कीं और कहा कि आर्थिक प्रोत्साहन पैकेज की दूसरी किस्त में प्रवासी मजदूरों, फेरी वालों और छोटे किसानों को लाभ मिलेगा।

आर्थिक प्रोत्साहन पैकेज की दूसरी किस्त की घोषणा करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि जिन आठ करोड़ प्रवासी मजदूरों के पास कोई भी राशन कार्ड नहीं है, उन्हें पांच किलो गेहूं या चावल प्रति व्यक्ति और एक किलो चना प्रति परिवार दो महीने तक मुफ्त मिलेगा।
