मध्यप्रदेश की राजधानी भोपाल के राजा भोज हवाई अड्डे से सोमवार को घरेलू उड़ानों का परिचालन शुरू हुआ। साथ ही चार्टर विमानों को भी परिचालन की अनुमति दी गई। इसके बाद से ही कोरोना वायरस से बचने के लिए उच्च आय वाले परिवार और लोग विमानों में अकेले यात्रा करने को तवज्जो दे रहे हैं। 

ऐसा ही एक मामला सामने आया, जब एक उच्च आय वाले परिवार ने चार सदस्यों की दिल्ली यात्रा के लिए एयरबस ए320 को पूरा बुक कर लिया। दिल्ली जाने वाले लोगों में पत्नी, दो बच्चे और उसके घर में काम करनेवाली एक महिला शामिल थी।

पश्चिम भारत स्थित कंपनी ने इस 180 सीटर विमान को किराये पर लिया था। उद्योग के अंदरूनी सूत्रों का कहना है कि इस पूरी यात्रा की लागत लगभग 10 लाख रुपये हो सकती है। इस विमान ने सोमवार को दिल्ली से केवल क्रू मेंबर्स (सदस्य) के साथ सुबह 9.05 पर उड़ान भरी और 10.30 बजे भोपाल पहुंचा। इसके बाद चार यात्रियों को लेते हुए विमान ने भोपाल हवाई अड्डे से 11.30 बजे उड़ान भरी और 12.55 बजे यह दिल्ली पहुंचा। 

एयरलाइन के एक अधिकारी ने बताया कि यहां बहुत से उच्च आय वाले लोग और कंपनियां कोरोना वायरस के चलते भारी भीड़ से बचना चाहते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि चूंकि भारत में विमानन टरबाइन ईंधन (एटीएफ) की कीमत बहुत कम है, इस समय एयरलाइंस और चार्टर कंपनियां उचित दरों की पेशकश करने में सक्षम हैं। इस कारण वायरस से बचने के लिए एचएनआई/कॉरपोरेट्स को भुगतान करने में कोई आपत्ति नहीं है।  

एक ए320 को चार्टर करने में चार से पांच लाख रुपये घंटे का खर्च आता है। इस तरह दिल्ली-मुंबई के बीच चार्टर करने में 16 से 18 लाख रुपये का खर्च आएगा। वहीं, कीमतें एटीएफ की कीमत पर निर्भर करती है। 

चार्टर उद्योग के अंदरूनी सूत्रों ने बताया कि जिस दिन भारत में अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानों पर पाबंदी की घोषणा की जाने वाली थी, उससे एक दिन पहले एक तीन लोगों के परिवार ने यूरोप से भारत आने के लिए एक चार्टर विमान बुक किया था। उन्होंने बताया कि इस यात्रा का खर्च तकरीबन 80 लाख रुपये था।
