समजून घेऊ या ध्वनीचे प्रसारण

संदर्भ : इयत्ता सहावी, पाठ 13 ध्वनी. अध्ययन निष्पत्ती प्रक्रिया व घटना यांचा कारणांशी संबंध लावतात.

लक्षात घेऊ या :

आवाज किंवा ध्वनी आपल्याला कसा ऐकू येतो? ज्या वस्तूंमुळे ध्वनी निर्माण होतो तिला ध्वनी स्रोत म्हणतात. ध्वनी स्रोताभोवती हवा असते. ध्वनीने स्रोतांचे कंपन होऊ लागले की त्याच्या लगतच्या हवेचा थरही कंप पावतो. ध्वनी स्रोतापासून सर्व दिशांना ध्वनीच्या कंपनांची लाट पसरत जाते. या लाटेलाच ध्वनिलहरी म्हणतात. या ध्वनिलहरी आपल्या कानापर्यंत पोहोचतात. कानांतील पोकळीत नाजूक पडदा असतो. तो कंप पावतो. या कंपनांमुळे निर्माण होणारी संवेदना कानातील चेतातंतूद्वारे आपल्या मेंदूपर्यंत पोहोचते आणि आपल्याला ध्वनी ऐकू येतो.

ध्वनीचे प्रसारण: ध्वनी स्रोतापासून ध्वनी लहरी सर्व बाजूंना पसरणे म्हणजे ध्वनी प्रसारण होय.

  1. चित्रात दाखवल्याप्रमाणे दोन फुगे घ्या. एका फुग्यांमध्ये हवा भरा व दुसऱ्यात पाणी भरा.

कोणीही दोघेजण मिळून ही पृती करा. विगत दाखवल्याप्रमाणे दोन नावाच्या कागदी कपामध्ये दौरा बांधून घ्या. चित्रात दाखवल्याप्रमाणे दोस सैल ठेवून, एकाने कप/ करवंटी कामाला लाव बोला आवाज येतो का ते ऐका. आता त्यातील दौरा नाणून लांब अंतरावर उभे राहा. आता एकाने बोल कानाला लावा आणि बोललेला आवाज येतो की नाही ने अनुभवा. आता तुम्हाला आवाज येईल असणाऱ्या ज्या पदार्थांमधून ध्वनिलहरी पसरतात त्यांना ध्वनी प्रसारणाचे माध्यम म्हणतात.

ध्वनीच्या प्रसारणासाठी माध्यमाची आवश्यकता असते. हवा, पाणी किंवा एखादा स्वामधून प्रसारण होते. ध्वनीचे प्रसारण स्थायू, द्रव किंवा बायू माध्यमांतून होते. ध्वनी लहरींचे प्रसारण वायू पेक्षा द्रातून तर द्रवापेक्षा स्थायूतून अधिक वेगाने होते. निर्वात म्हणजे जिथे हवा नाही अशी संपूर्णपणे रिकामी असलेली जागा.
